Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KitCue ("the Service"), operated by KitCue ("we," "us," or "our"). By using KitCue, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Use of the Service

KitCue provides AI-assisted tools to help independent filmmakers generate press kits, director's statements, synopses, cast bios, and Q&A preparation materials. You may use the Service for personal and commercial filmmaking purposes, including festival submissions and press outreach.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the film information you provide and for reviewing all generated content before use. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies — we recommend reviewing all output before distributing it to festivals, press, or distributors.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of the film details you enter and the press kit content generated from them. By using the Service, you grant KitCue a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership over your content and do not use it to train AI models.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use KitCue to generate content that is false, defamatory, or intended to deceive; to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's API; to resell or sublicense access to the Service without permission; or to use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

Pro Subscription

KitCue Pro is available as a monthly ($19/month) or annual ($199/year) subscription, billed through Stripe. Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your Stripe billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at KitCue.film@gmail.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.

Pro access is tied to your browser session. We do not maintain user accounts. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you will need to contact us to restore Pro access.

Availability and Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may update pricing, features, or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

KitCue is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be suitable for any particular purpose. Use of AI-generated content for professional purposes is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KitCue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or reputational harm resulting from the use of generated content.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
